Overview
3mm Neoprene gloves built to keep your hands in the water longer. Cold exposure hits the extremities first, and numb hands are usually what ends a session before your body is ready to. These hold heat without killing dexterity, so you can stay in for the full practice.
Anti-slip palm. Adjustable wrist closure to lock out water exchange. Sized to run snug, which is correct for cold water since less water movement means warmer hands.
Pairs with the booties and thermometer in The Frost Kit.
Fit and sizing
These gloves run true to size. Hand width matters most, so measure across your palm and match it to the size chart. If you land right on the edge between sizes, size down.
Common questions:
Are 3mm gloves warm enough for cold plunging?
For most sessions, yes. 3mm neoprene holds heat at 45F while leaving enough dexterity to grip the edge of the tub.
How do I measure for the right size?
Lay your hand flat and measure across the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles, not including your thumb. Width decides the fit more than finger length.
Should they feel tight?
Snug, not tight. A snug fit keeps cold water from flushing through. If they pinch your fingers, go up a size.
Do the gloves and booties fit the same way?
No. The gloves run true to size, while our 3mm Cold Plunge Booties run large, so size down on those. If you're buying both, check each size chart separately.
How do I care for them?
Rinse in fresh water after each session and air dry out of direct sun.
